Tomasz Waligórski

Tomasz Waligórski has extensive experience in retail and wholesale, which he gained on both the Polish and international markets. He started his career in 1995 as a buyer in the Eurocash wholesale chain, and later in the Biedronka chain of stores, where he worked as a regional operations director, then commercial director and member of the management board. He spent over 7 years on a contract in Portugal, where he worked as director of private labels for the Jeronimo Martins Group, and previously as a senior buyer in the Pingo Doce supermarket chain. Then, after returning to Poland, he held the position of CEO in the Polomarket supermarket chain and again in Eurocash, where he worked as the General Director of Retail. Tomasz Waligórski also spent almost 2 years in Africa as COO in a hypermarket chain in Angola, and for the last 3 years he was the General Director of the Intermarche chain. From July 1, 2024, he holds the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Carrefour Polska.

Nicolas joined the Carrefour group in August 2011 as internal auditor for Europe and South America. From July 2022, he was the Financial Director at Eureca within the Carrefour Group. Before assuming this role, Nicolas was the Controlling Director at Carrefour Polska.

Agata Wójcik - Ryszawa is a lawyer. She started her career in 2000 at Jeronimo Martins Dystrybucja S.A. as HR Manager. In 2014, she was appointed Human Resources Director at Hebe, specialized stores with health and cosmetics products of Jeronimo Martins Drogerie i Farmacja. In 2017, she moved to Sephora as Human Resources Director in Poland and the Czech Republic, and then in 2021 she joined RTV Euro AGD, specializing in consumer electronics and household appliances. Since January 2024, she was the Human Resources Director at Integer.pl S.A.

Commercial and Supply Chain Director

Eric Yung is a food engineer. He started his career at Carrefour in 1999, where he held several positions in the area of marketing and then purchasing various categories of fresh products and groceries. In 2012, he became Director of the Large Home Appliances Market. In 2016, he joined the FMCG teams as Organization and Method Merchandise Director, and from 2018 he was the director of Maison Johanès Boubée - a wine subsidiary of the Carrefour Group. On June 1st, 2024, Eric Yung was appointed as the Commercial and Supply Chain Director and Carrefour Polska Board Member.

Robert Stupak has many years of experience in the areas of marketing and e-commerce, which he gained both in Poland and abroad, cooperating with the largest global brands in the retail, e-commerce and technology sectors.

Agata Kopytyńska has over 20 years of experience in the retail industry in the field of real estate and finance. She joined Carrefour in 2006. Until 2012, she held managerial positions in the Controlling Department, and then managed the real estate and expansion area.

History

Carrefour started its activities in Poland in 1997 with the opening of its first hypermarket in Łódż. Since then, the retail chain has expanded and now consists of over 900 stores in 5 formats.

Carrefour Poland is part of the Carrefour Group, which was founded in 1959 in Annecy, France. The company launched its international expansion in 1973, entering on new markets. Carrefour currently operates in countries like: Spain, Italy, Belgium, Romania, Brazil, Argentina, China and Taiwan.
