Let’s talk about quality

Let’s talk about quality

The ‘Let’s Talk About Quality’ project is a series of educational meetings organized by Carrefour experts in selected stores. The workshops were free of charge and opened to every customer visiting a given store. Customers could thus benefit from educational resources and animations on Carrefour products’ quality.

A sensory panel organized in every Carrefour store was an important element which preceded the launch of a given product in stores. Customers could learn about the health benefits of products, and labels that should be found on top quality and ecological products.

Every customer at Carrefour could get advice from an experienced dietitian from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences on healthy diet, food processing and food storage.

Eco campaigns

Eco campaigns

Carrefour Poland is eager to engage itself in campaigns which encourage customers to change their consumer habits into more ecological ones. In 2015 and 2016, representatives organized for customers a series of games on special stands, in order for them to learn more about conscious consumption and everyday environmental protection.

Carrefour also took part in the “Earth Hour” initiative and switched off part of the neon lights and logo on stores, and reduced the lighting of shopping areas and warehouses as well as the power of the air-conditioning system.

Furthermore, and for the International Earth Day, Carrefour organized the “Get your seedling” campaign- in exchange for their paper waste, customers could get a young plant.

Migam Interpreter App

Based on its international experience, Carrefour introduces in its stores new solutions which ensure pleasant and comfortable shopping experiences, an efficient and professional customer service, as well as new digital communication channels with customers.

Thanks to the cooperation between Carrefour Poland and MIGAM, deaf and hard of hearing customers who shop at Carrefour stores can interact more conveniently with others. Since September 2017, every Carrefour hypermarket is equipped with a tablet and headphones for facilitating the customer service with deaf and hard of hearing people.

Introducing electronic devices to facilitate the customer service with deaf and hard of hearing people , enables to instantly connect to a sign language interpreter, known as Migam, and which verbalizes messages received from a deaf or hard of hearing person. In order to reduce noise and interferences, e.g from the shopping hall, the receiver can use headphones for listening to the translation on the tablet. The app is available via www.carrefour.pl.
