Our team is diverse. There are among us employees with many years of experience, young people, experts and students. There are also jogging, cycling, cooking and photography lovers.

For 10 years there are also people with disabilities in our teams. We welcome anyone who is open-minded and likes contacts with people. At Carrefour each day is different!

We want to provide customers with best quality products. Fresh products are the “apple of our eye”, so we pay much attention to the skills and competences of our bakers, pastry cooks and butchers.

We enable them to earn a professional certificate and become an apprentice. The world is changing, but a good professional will always be of great value.

We See Your Talent

For 20 years, people with passion for commerce have been shaping Carrefour Poland. However, they live after working hours their individual passions that often are an inspiration in our professional life. We help them spread their wings with the contest “We See Your Talent”. This contest allows us to meet amazing, creative people who are real masters in what they do and spread a positive energy around them. Having passions is really worth it!

(Dis)abled employees at Carrefour

There are currently over 600 employees with disabilities in Carrefour teams, both in stores and at the headquarters. Among them, there are checkout assistants, logistics specialists, marketing specialists and accountants. They shape their own career path the way they want. They grow in our company’s structure on managerial positions or by choosing to become an expert. What matters to us are: competences, commitment, and openness to others. We work with the EKON and PION organizations to employ people with disabilities.

From junior to senior

From junior to senior

Employing four generations of people gives an ocean of opportunities, but it is also a great challenge. We believe that we learn the most and acquire new competences through practice. This is why we value cooperation as well as exchange of thoughts, experiences and good practices. In our vocational training centre “Smak Kariery”, juniors, who are just starting their professional career, meet “seniors” with many years of experience as well as experts in their field.

Nowadays there is no business which does not use new technologies. We also do not slow down the pace and follow the market. We actively develop ecommerce, launch new services, and propose new digital solutions for our employees and we are investing in a modern start-up incubator C4 Retail Lab.
