The Carrefour Foundation allocated a grant to the Warsaw University of Life Sciences for the implementation of the nationwide program 'BIO for Mother and Child', which is addressed to mothers, pregnant women and staff of institutions associated with these groups. The program involves conducting workshops on organic food in Warsaw and in the cities of Eastern Poland: Lublin, Radom, Białystok, Olsztyn, Biała Podlaska, Siedlce and Wyszków.
There are several workshops planned in each city - birthing schools, nurseries, kindergartens - thanks to which over 1000 participants will be able to participate. Support for the project, whose educational goal is to raise public awareness in the field of organic food, is an important element of Carrefour's strategy of food transition.
