Supeco is an international brand belonging to the Carrefour Group. In Poland, wholesale and discount Supeco stores operate in Piekary Śląskie, Tarnobrzeg, Gostyń, Zgorzelec, Bogatynia, Jaworzno, Skarżysko Kamienna, Zabrze, Starogard Gdański.
Carrefour manages a network of over 600 convenience stores in 3 formats: Express convenience, Express minimarket and Globi. Each of those types is adapted to suit different locations: from big cities to residential areas, including smaller towns in rural areas. These are innovative self-service stores in the convenience format. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The first Carrefour vending store was established in Warsaw in December 2019. It offers 170 references, and the available products include not only the typical food-to-go offer, i.e. sandwiches, snacks, drinks or sweets, but also fresh products such as packaged apples, tomatoes, lettuce, bread and butter; products that need to be stored in the fridge, such as dairy products, sausages, fish; necessities, e.g. flour, rice, sugar, oil, coffee, tea, spices; ready meals, basic hygiene and pet food. The second self-service store was opened in Warsaw in December 2020.
Carrefour BIO is a new format for certified organic food stores. The first Carrefour BIO store was opened in November 2019 in Warsaw at ul. Marszałkowska 87. It offers 2500 products, including 250 types of fresh products, e.g. vegetables and fruits, meat, fish. Currently, there are 4 Carrefour BIO stores - three in Warsaw and one in Wrocław.
In 2015, Carrefour took over a chain of specialized stores known as “Galeria Alkoholi”. These stores offer a wide range of spirits at affordable prices. The company opens new stores in attractive locations and plans to expand the chain even more.
